Ricky Ross and Doctor Love out of shadows and into maestros and the more 'acceptable' face of pop with 'Ricky Ross and Doctor Love'. a school teacher with a hankering for the pop world and a voice not dissimilar to Elvis Costello, a personality which caused two fully fledged encores, and a face which could launch a thousand teenage hearts in a race against rhyme. Songs like 'Big Shoes", Big Sister and 'Confessing' suggested an appreciation of Friends Again at their best, through to the irrepressible Kent compilations. Influences later verified by 'Caravan Land and Bobby Sheen's 'Doctor Love', songs aided and abetted by Ross' bewitching smile. And as with his namesake there are many who will second this emotion.
